Omnilab Baltic was founded in 2010 and is part of the Omnilab Group. The company, founded in 1935 by Hinrich Jürgens, is headquartered in Bremen, Germany. After his son took over in 1967, Joachim Jürgens is now the third generation to lead the company. The group of companies also includes Universal Laborservice and Kleinfeld Labortechnik.
Based in the Technology Park at the University of Bremen, Omnilab has established itself on the market as a supplier of premium chemicals, laboratory supplies and laboratory equipment – also internationally. In addition to trading, Omnilab focuses primarily on service solutions in the areas of logistics, e-business and procurement.
In Germany, in addition to the headquarters, there are also two branches in Leipzig and Munich. As part of the international growth strategy and the importance of the markets, in 2011 Omnilab expanded into Turkey.
The latest milestones in the company’s history are the introduction of modern ERP software as well as the relaunch of the website and online store. Thus, the company is well prepared for the future and is able to meet the growing demands of customers for further digitalization.
